How you can help
The last page of the book. Concrete ways to help us build the company these pages describe.
If you've read this far, you know what we're trying to build and why. A company built in the open only works if people take part, so here are concrete ways to do that.
Use it, and tell us the truth
The single most useful thing you can do is use what we make and tell us where it falls short. Not polite feedback, the real kind: what confused you, what broke, what you expected that wasn't there. We treat that as a gift, not a complaint. The Discord is open, and so are the issues.
Build in the open with us
This whole thing is open source, handbook included. Fix a typo, sharpen a page, file an issue, open a pull request. If a page here is wrong or unclear, that's a bug you're welcome to fix. See open source and building in public for how we work with contributors.
Send the right people our way
If Flagon would genuinely help someone you know, tell them. Word of mouth from someone who means it is the best thing that can happen to us, and we don't take it for granted.
Come build it
If reading this made you want to work somewhere like this, that's not an accident. Have a look at careers, and at who Flagon is for, and who it isn't so you can tell whether you'd actually love it here.
Hold us to all of this
Every page in this book is a standard we've written down on purpose, so you can hold us to it. If we fall short, say so, here or at hey@flagon.io. Being kept honest is the most valuable help of all.
